Two-field sports hall at the Geschwister Scholl Grammar School in Sangerhausen

 

The ball impact resistant BER Naturspan-V (absorption class C) is the main acoustic factor here. It is stipulated in DIN 18041 that the target reverberation time for two-field sports halls is 2.38 seconds. The Graduate Physicist Manfred Weiße carried out a reverberation time measurement in accordance with DIN EN ISO 3382 after completion of the work. The result in a room which was not occupied was only 1.49 seconds, this being much shorter that specified in DIN 18041.t.
