Fire protection elements of BER are produced according the quality standards of the Association of Industrial Metal Ceiling Manufacturers, TAIM, with the exception of Top 4.2 and in accordance with the DIN EN 13964
They are an independent development in system dependent dimensions produced and tested according to DIN 4102. Our F30 element e . g has undergone the test from so called top and bottom and the element F90 was automatically classified from above. That means, they both achieve by itself the fire resistance classes F30 and F90.
The fire protection ceiling systems from BER,are preferably used in escape routes or as a room ceilings, which means built-in security.
The systems comply with the requirements of design-oriented architects and builders. Installations, which are located above the fire protection ceiling must be accessible.To meet these demands we have tested elements in different versions, eg. They are available as cassettes which are placed, hung or folded down ,Other tested installations and structures example e..g., for lights, loudspeakers and shut-off valves can be found in our wide range of products
